KLA-Tencor
KLA-Tencor, a $1.2 billion dollar manufacturer of semiconductor
equipment, needed a way to organize its 300 person exhibitor
staff for the SEMICON West tradeshow.
Because KLA's employees are scattered at offices throughout the world,
a web based system was proposed to streamline the process
for attendees to register for their badges and book their hotel rooms.
Hemko created a tool that allowed attendees
to register and reserve rooms out of KLA's hotel block.
Upon registration, the attendee's supervisor was sent an email requesting approval
for the booking. Online reports allowed for managerial overview.
